Terms of Service

1. Payment Terms

All payments are processed via M-Pesa (Safaricom). When you place an order, you will receive an STK push to your phone. Upon entering your M-Pesa PIN and the transaction completing successfully, the payment is considered final and confirmed.

All prices are displayed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Package prices include both domain registration and hosting for the period stated.

2. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our services:

• Domain registrations are non-refundable once the domain has been registered with the registry. This is because domain registration involves third-party registry fees that cannot be reversed.
• Hosting fees are non-refundable once the hosting account has been provisioned and cPanel credentials have been delivered.
• If we are unable to fulfil your order (e.g., the requested domain is unavailable), a full refund will be processed to your M-Pesa number within 48 hours.

3. Service Delivery

We aim to fulfil all orders on the same business day if payment is received before 5:00 PM EAT. Orders received after 5:00 PM will be processed the following business day. In exceptional cases, fulfilment may take up to 24 hours.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use KwikiHost services for:

• Any illegal activity under Kenyan law
• Distributing malware, phishing, or spam
• Hosting content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Running resource-intensive processes that degrade service for other customers on shared hosting
• Sending unsolicited bulk emails from your hosting account

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension of your account without refund.

5. Service Availability

KwikiHost hosting is provided on a best-effort basis. We use reliable infrastructure (cPanel on KwikiHost), but we do not guarantee a specific uptime SLA. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated via email when possible.

6. Renewals

Domains and hosting expire after the paid period. We will send renewal reminders at 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiry. If you do not renew, your domain may become available for others to register and your hosting data may be deleted after a grace period.

7. Limitation of Liability

KwikiHost shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question during the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered customers. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
